BRIEF: Design and produce a vinyl sleeve, an EP cover, the design for on the CD, gig posters, and designs for Tote bags and T-shirts, all of which reflect other bands of a similar genre's merchandise designs. - Bethan Seller

I used Century Gothic as a template underneath so i could get the letter spacing perfect for the logo. I then drew shapes over the top, similar to the shape but a bit more organic and less ‘font constrained.’

I spoke with a member of the band and he liked the first design but was concerned that the rest of the band might want something slightly darker. He said he liked the other designs so I said i could do some more hand drawn similar things to this so it’d more like their own logo than just some computer stuff. I played around with what I had as a template to draw from…

I’ve been working on this today, did a drawings for it and then added the colour and neatened it up using photoshop.

After evaluating this piece of work, I definitely need to rethink the colour scheme because it’s not really very ‘punk shoe-gaze’, more twee tea party with some teddy bears… Cringe.
